The Mowrystown Community worships together each Good Friday, Easter (for Sunrise) and at Christmas!  We love getting together and singing, praying, fellowshiping & eating.  The Mowrystown Presbyterian Church, the Mowrystown Church of Christ and Living Springs Community Church work well together in service, as well.  Our annual Community VBS is sponsored by all three!  

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the season by joining us for Good Friday services at 7:00pm at the Presbyterian Church (on the corner) and Easter Sunrise services at Living Springs at 7am on Easter morning!

The offerings taken during these services will help cover expenses for our Vacation Bible School, usually held in June.

On Saturday, 11/21/15 - The Living Springs Mission Team served at Matthew:25 Ministries in Cincinnati.  We sorted shoes to be sent to third-world countries.  We're looking forward to building a schedule for next year's teams to work at M:25, Big Creek Missions, Operation Christmas Child, Haitian Christian Mission, our local Food Pantry & more!  Stay tuned - we'll have a Team meeting soon to discuss and plan a calendar.  We will have a lunch together and plan for '16!

Operation Christmas Child packing resulted in 200 special boxes of love to be sent throughout the world!  Thanks to everyone who helped donate, pack, ship, etc.!  We're looking forward to our trip to Charlotte to work at the Distribution Center!

Awesome ministry in Big Creek, Kentucky!  We were able to assist with Food Distribution & serving a meal of beans & cornbread to some amazing families needing a little extra help and a good friend.  Sharing the love of Jesus is easy with the wonderful staff at Big Creek and we're looking forward to going back next year!  They're building a coffee shop to assist with needed funds, provide work experiences/training, and a great place to hang out in a Christian atmosphere.  Please pray for the Big Creek area.  They have been hit hard with losing good jobs (mining) and the abuse of drugs is rampant.
